Seller terms

These Seller terms apply when you register as a farmer and list products on Farm2You. They sit alongside the general Terms of Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be able to lawfully sell the products you list in Ireland.
• Email confirmation and platform approval may be required before selling.
• You must keep farm profile details (including contact and fulfilment options) accurate.

2. Listings

• You set prices, stock, units, and fulfilment options for your products.
• Descriptions, images, allergens, and dietary tags must be truthful and not misleading.
• You must not list illegal, unsafe, or prohibited items.

3. Orders & fulfilment

• When a customer pays, you must fulfil your lines within the timelines and methods you advertise.
• On multi-farm orders, you are responsible only for your own lines.
• Update order status promptly so customers know when goods are preparing, ready, or completed.

4. Platform fee

Farm2You charges a platform commission on successfully sold goods (configured in the platform settings; default around 5–10% depending on commercial arrangement). Payment processor fees may apply separately. Fees help cover hosting, payments, support, and marketplace tooling.

5. Payouts

Payout records may be created per farm share of an order. Timing depends on payment provider settlement and any verification holds. You are responsible for your own tax and accounting.

6. Food safety & insurance

You remain responsible for food safety compliance, labelling, and any insurance appropriate to your business. See also Food safety & trust.

7. Suspension

We may hide listings or suspend Seller access for safety, fraud, repeated non-fulfilment, or policy breaches.
