Farm2You exists to shorten the path from Irish farms to your table. Food safety remains the responsibility of the producing/selling business under Irish and EU law.

1. Seller responsibilities

• Comply with applicable food hygiene and traceability rules.
• Hold any required registrations (e.g. food business registration) for the activities they carry out.
• Describe products honestly, including allergens and key dietary information.
• Use suitable packaging, cold-chain, and handling for the products they sell.

2. What Farm2You does

• Provides tools for farms to list products, manage orders, and share farm information.
• May request verification documents and mark farms as verified when checks are completed.
• Can suspend listings or accounts where we reasonably believe there is a safety or trust risk.

Farm2You does not replace official inspections by authorities.

3. Allergens

Buyers should always read product pages carefully. If you have a serious allergy, confirm details with the farm before ordering. Cross-contamination risks can exist on small farms and shared facilities.

4. Reporting a concern

If you believe a listing is unsafe or misleading, report it via the help chat or support email with the product/farm name and order number if relevant. For immediate health emergencies, contact emergency services.
